Lisa Michaels is an
accomplished singer and entertainer from Huntington, Long Island. Music has always been a very important part of her life,
with her singing debut at age 7. She began her professional career at age 15, with various appearances on television, stage,
local theatre and social events. She attended Adelphi University as a Theatre Major studying acitng, dance, voice and theatre.
In 1987, Lisa founded the company Hot Pursuit Music. Her 10 piece band of musicians and singers quickly became an outstanding
musical entity in the New York, Metro area performing at major corporate events, high society parties and top area night clubs.
Lisa's creativity with music and songwriting has transcended into her love for cooking. She is equally gifted
in the kitchen as she is with music, creating recipes and dishes that compliment both the palate and the eye. It is no wonder
the two creative forces have finally come together to create "The Musical Chef". Lisa's passion for music and
food will take you on a journey into the life of a singer and into the warmth of her kitchen combining great food and great
music for you to enjoy. Lisa is currently the host of "The Musical Chef" a national cooking show.
