Lisa Michaels is an accomplished singer and performer. Since the age of 7 years old she was entered into many Long Island talent shows and by age 12 was studying with a top vocal teacher in NYC from NYU. From there her training allowed her to sing classical arias to pop music. Leading into songwriting in high school, Lisa composed music that was arranged and played by the high school jazz band. Shortly thereafter she began singing in weddings bands on weekends while attending high school. She studied acting at Adelphi University and quickly became a popular coffee house act on campus with her singing talent. Several years after college she was given the opportunity to start her own wedding band at age 23, Hot Pursuit. For many years Lisa has been the bandleader of Hot Pursuit performing all over the tri-state area at weddings, clubs and corporate events. Her many years of experience have made her a favorite amongst her clients providing them with outstanding service with her unique ability to make each clients vision of their event exceed their expectations. Surrounding herself with some of the most talented singers and musicians in the Tri-State area, her bands reputation for excellence has brought many great performances to many people over the years.

As a solo singer, Lisa can sing a variety of music from many genres from pop, dance, rock, jazz and ethnic styles of Spanish and Italian....not to mention the many horas's! She can perform solo with tracks or arrange a trio of musicians for smaller events and cocktail hours. Her vast connections with talent allow her to always have a great support of talent everytime she performs.

Lisa currently resides in Huntington, New York and is available for any musical event, project or band.
